If you are looking for a place to learn, have fun and enjoy your horse in southwestern Ohio, then please stop by so we can show you how Dancing Horse Farm will exceed your expectations. We have regularly scheduled events, special events and Planned Competitions. Check this page frequently as additional events and activities will sure to be scheduled!
Regularly Scheduled Events
Pilates
DHF is pleased to offer weekly Pilates classes for our clients. The classes are designed for riders and are held every Wednesday from 5:20 pm to 6:20 pm in the Barn 1 upstairs observation room. Class space is limited to 8 participants walk-in fee is $16 per class. Or you can purchase six classes for $84 ($14 per session). If you have any questions please feel free to contact the instructor: Susan Beyersdoerfer at 937-974-5019 (certified through ACE American Council of Exercise).
Special Events, Clinics, and Seminars
Please note:
- DHF lesson students are given priority for event participation.
- Prior to an event, the schedule and/or individual ride times are available on Current Events.
- Show Entry Forms available on Forms.
- Dogs are not permitted on the DHF property for the safety of our human and animal clientele.

November 21-23
Dressage Clinic with Joan Bolton
USDF Gold and Silver Medallist, short listed for the Pan American Games and 2000 Olympics, and student of Sandy Howard and Gunter Seidel. Click on Forms for Event Participation, Auditor, and Horse Show Entry Forms.
Cost: $150 for a single ride, $285 for two rides, or $400 for one ride each day. Participants can ride Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.
We only have a couple rider spots left, so please let me know ASAP if you would like to the rider’s list. As always, clinic participation priority is given to DHF students. Participant registration paperwork and payment are due to DHF at least one week before the clinic. Make sure to indicate session day/time preference on the Participant Form.
Auditing Fees: $25 per day (we’ve done away with separating advanced registration and walk-in fees)
Discounts: 20% discount for 4-H or Pony Club members

Planned USDF Competition Calendar
After each competition will try to summarize and provide scores on News and Results.
October 22-25, 2009: Region 1 Championships, Virginia Horse Center, Lexington, VA.
Please Note: We have decided that for next year’s Regionals, we will head to the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA, October 22-25, 2009, for the Region 1 Championships, instead of our Region 2 Championships at Lamplight Equestrian Center outside of Chicago, IL. We enjoyed competing at the beautiful Lamplight facility last year but the ~10 hour drive through midweek Chicago traffic was pretty stressful, whereas the fantastic VA Horse Center is both an incredible facility and an easy 8 hour drive through the beautiful country side. Jen and Lenny spent a lot of time competing at the VA Horse Center while living in Maryland and look forward to a return trip with a great group of horses and students!
